Salvation

If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved." Romans 10:9

Salvation is a gift from God that is made readily available to all of us.  To receive salvation we must do what is written in Romans 10:9-10, “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.   For with the heart of man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.”

Acts 16:31, records these words, “And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.”  This gift cannot be earned through good deeds or by simply being a “good person.”  It is a matter of faith.  The gospel also offers you a promise, which is to save you from the penalty of sin; we must believe it.

What must you do to complete your salvation:

1.  You must admit that you are a sinner.

2.  You must repent of your sins.

3.  You must confess Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.

Here is a prayer you can pray right now!

Lord, I admit that I have sinned and made myself unclean before you.  I understand that I deserve death as the penalty for my sins, and I believe that Jesus Christ paid this price for my sins, and I believe that Jesus Christ paid this price with His Blood.  I want to turn away from my life-style of selfishness and sin; I repent.  I confess Jesus Christ as my Savor and I put Him in control of my life as my Lord.  This I pray in the name of Jesus, Amen!  Beloved, since you have admitted that you were a sinner, repented of your sins, confessed Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, you are SAVED!
